Time Management Tips
I don't know about you but I find that utilizing the time that we are all given is a never ending challenge when the world is throwing 1000's of things to do in my path. What do I do to ensure I am doing what is important but not necessarily urgent for my life and business success?
I've found a great book on this topic Juggling?? Time Management Tips - Strategies for Your Success from 3 Experts! by Carrie Wilkerson, the Barefoot Executive!
Carrie Wilkerson runs several highly successful companies from the comfort of her home, in addition to running a large family and being a successful life coach as well! I highly recommend you reading this awesome book--it will change your life and how you look at "time management"

Munchies, Chocolate and Weight Loss-It's ALL GOOD!
I've heard it both ways, that snacking is not good for weight loss and on the flip side, eating 6 small meals a day is the best way to lose weight. What's a girl to do?? I know for me, unless I'm not working or it's the weekend, by the time 3 pm rolls around, I am on the prowl for something to snack on--and No, it's not really a salad I'm looking for :) Can ya feel me on this one?? Check out Dumb Little Man's Tips today for guaranteed ways to curb the 3pm munchies and although it wasn't "said" and keep off the weight! I enjoyed all the Buster tips, but I especially liked Craving Buster #5: Give into temptation-but do it Right. I know for me, the way I do it "right" is when I get the urge to indulge in high fat high carb high sugar foods (aka Hershey bar) I use my secret weapon and CHEAT it! Cheat is part of an amazing weight loss system that doesn't require you to change what you eat or do and still lose weight!
I also drink a LOT of water and if I'm still "head hungry" I take a quick walk.....health starts from the inside out---mind, spirit and body-----so managing stress and "getting happy" are awesome principles to use in your quest to align your mental image with the physical one. I love Jack Canfield's book "The Success Principles" because they are so universal...success in business is no different then success in life- the underlying principles are the same. My weight loss program includes aspects of all three.
So, Manage Stress, Feed Your Mind, and don't just eat it, Cheat it!

efusjon vs Verve! (The Insanely Healthy Energy Drink)
efusjon vs Verve! (The Insanely Healthy Energy Drink)
* efusjon information from their website http://www.efusjon.com/faqs.asp
efusjon costs $135 for 36 cans versus $120 for 48cans of Verve! before shipping and tx
$2.71 a can of Verve versus $3.75 a can of efusjon
Add shipping and handling 36 cans of efusjon costs you 157.50 ($7.50 for each 13 pack ( that's $7.50 x 3 for that $135 a month order) before sales tax. 48 Cans of Verve cost $144 before tax..
To become a Verve Brand Partner, there is NO membership fee, for the "efusjon Energy Club" you pay $10 to get started.
You have increasing personal volume to pay out at deeper levels, Vemma Verve pays 10 ways with a basic 2 pack autoship ( that 48 case of Verve does it all for you) When an associate you personally sponsor orders, you get $10 buck--it doesn't matter if they spend $135 or $900, you still make $10 bucks (???????????)
efusjon doesn't really say much about what the comp plan exactly is--makes me suspicious. efusjon also doesn't have the NBA, NHL and Nascar involvement or professional athletes that personally represent the Vemma product.
Beware of new startups that promise little to no work for lots of money---
It's always your choice and decision to spend a lot of money on an incomplete product or pay less money for a quality product that provides a complete nutritional foundation.
* efusjon information from their website http://www.efusjon.com/faqs.asp*

I'll Tell You What I Want, What I Really, Really Want
reposted from Jennie Flintoft's 2/26/09 eZine "Fired Up"
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
I'll Tell You What I Want, What I Really, Really Want
Zig Ziglar, a famous motivational speaker was once very publicly confronted during one of his seminars. The heckler said to him, "You guys come and get people all hyped up and then you leave and the motivation goes away. It doesn't last, and we're left having to get motivated again."
Zig reminded the gentleman that having a shower is pretty much the same principle - but we think it is a good idea to take a bath everyday! We've got to top up our motivation if we want to feel Fired Up.
This is our responsibility - not our bosses, not our clients, not our partner, not our companies - ours. You've heard the expression, "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink". That's exactly the same here. Your company could have loads of great incentives, you could have the best boss ever, an awesome partner - but these things in themselves don't motivate you. It has to come from you.
Last week I talked about the sticky actions you can take to move forward on your goal. Small, simple actions you can identify over the course of week and WOW! Before you know it, you've got lots of options and ideas you can try out to get moving on your goal.
Goal setting is one of the most misunderstood topics within the area of personal development. Most people think goals should be SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Timebound). The trouble is, as soon as we start to think "How can I make this a realistic goal?", we lose the inspiration we have about it.
Inspiration is not realistic. It comes from deep down inside of us and it is scary!!! Michelangelo said, "The greater danger for most of us lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low, and achieving our mark." I love that - and it also scares me witless! Because I don't want to fail! However, I've noticed that, whenever I re-align my goals and make them more "realistic" - whatever that means - they become so much harder to achieve. Much harder. Because I'm not as fired up about them.
In a strange way, it's easier to get what you really want than what you think you can have, if that makes sense. For example, we look at our previous achievements and say, "OK. Last year I earned (x). So this year, I reckon I can make (y)." Or, "Last time it took me (x) weeks to finish that project. So this time it'll take me (y)." And we +/- it by around 10%. All very logical, or very blaaaaahhhh. Michael Neill calls the goals that really tickle us and fire us up our "Wow" goals. I know I've got them. Here's just a few:
I want to take my little girl to 5 new cities across the world every year, to drink in the culture and experience
I want to take a month off and fly with my husband and daughter to Australia and New Zealand and hook up with old friends and family
I want to learn to ski and have a skiing holiday each year
I want to have a personal 1:1 relationship with 100 new people each year over and above my usual client base, who have chosen to work with me in order to feel more Fired Up about their work and life
So how am I going to make all that happen? I have absolutely no idea! But what I do know is - the goals make me tingle. The thought of getting even ONE city visit a year makes me excited, never mind five! Don't let your past history, or past experience limit you. Feeling more Fired Up has got to start with you.
YOUR FIRED UP ACTION THIS WEEK:
So what do you want? What do you really, really want?
Write it down! Say it out loud! Own it! And just enjoy the journey of discovery of how you might get there. What's the worst thing that could happen? You might fail. How likely is that to happen? Extremely unlikely - because you'll still be further forward than where you are right at this moment.
Let me know what your bone shaking, spine tingling goal is - email me at jenny@rock-solutions.com and I'll be your virtual cheerleader, cheering you on to success!
Until next time, enjoy feeding your flame!

What is this "Vemma" stuff??

You may have been seeing and hearing this word Vemma lately, especially if you read Women's Fitness Magazine, Esquire, or Men's Journal. Yes, it's an odd sounding word and you're probably wondering what it is and why you need to use it.
VEMMA- a convenient, ultra-premium liquid nutritional formula. An acronym for Vitamins, Essential Minerals, Mangosteen and Aloe, Vemma's clinically-studied, liquid blend of 12 essential antioxidant vitamins and 65 plant-sourced trace ionic minerals "is the best delivery system for the nutrients that you want in your body," according to BK Boreko. "It's the most powerful liquid antioxidant on the planet...and it tastes great!"
Taking Vemma's successful formula one step further,Vemma launched Verve-the world's healthiest energy drink in the last quarter of 2007 as another great Vemma delivery system. With almost $3.5 million in sales in Verve's first 4 months, BK believes Verve is an innovative way to effectively help fill the teenage nutritional gap.
With the explosive Verve Energy Shot, you get all the powerful benefits of the energy drink, but a 125 mg of caffeine in a portable 3 oz sleek design. Verve also provides a great alternative to the many high sugar, high caffeine energy drinks or shots which currently dominate the energy market.Rethink YOUR Energy drink--drink Verve!
